Performance: Re/tell Atlas

Re/tell Atlas is a performance using original archives of vinyl and cassette tapes from Algerian and wider North African sounds. Through loops and live dubbing, Hannan attempts to echo both collective and autobiographical experiences of migration, language, origin, and chaos deriving from mixed-heritage experiences – moving towards alternative possibilities which highlight the state of flux amongst the traditional ways that we underpin identity and belonging.
